# Data Provider

### Introduction

OpenVision Labs recognizes the invaluable contributions of data providers in advancing the field of AI-powered humanoid robotics. To incentivize and reward users who submit eligible video-based data through the OpenVision mobile app, we have introduced a comprehensive rewards system powered by $VISION tokens.

### Reward Mechanism

#### $VISION Tokens

* Incentives: $VISION tokens are the official cryptocurrency used within the OpenVision ecosystem to reward data providers for their contributions.
* Value and Utility: $VISION tokens hold inherent value and can be utilized for various purposes within the OpenVision platform, such as accessing exclusive features, participating in governance decisions, and redeeming rewards.

#### Dual Reward Sources

* AI Researcher Contributions: AI researchers and engineers who benefit from the submitted video data acknowledge the efforts of data providers by directly contributing $VISION tokens as rewards.
* Incentive Pool: OpenVision Labs maintains a dedicated Incentive Pool that allocates a portion of $VISION tokens to reward data providers, ensuring a consistent and sustainable reward system.

#### Eligibility and Distribution

* Data Eligibility: To qualify for rewards, submitted video data must meet the specified criteria set by AI researchers, ensuring the quality and relevance of the data for AI training purposes.
* Reward Distribution: $VISION token rewards are automatically distributed to eligible data providers' wallets within the OpenVision mobile app, providing a seamless and transparent reward experience.
* Reward Proportionality: The number of $VISION tokens awarded to data providers is proportional to the quality, quantity, and value of the submitted video data, incentivizing users to contribute high-quality and diverse data sets.
